RPHS Yearbook Designs

For the 2018-2019 edition of the RPHS yearbook, the theme was Authentic. As a creative team, the creative director and I thought about how we would make this evident through each of the pages.

My idea was to create outlines over each headline, relating to the theme of the page. I chose outlines of people relating to the theme of the page because it took out the identity of the person. I used a variety of people when photographing the images I would use to create my outlines to showcase the different people in our school. By creating a diversified outline structure, each person was able to visualize themselves in the outline, taking it down to the root of the person and what they are doing. Authenticity in our sense was being true to the self and unapologetically yourself, allowing us to get deeper into people’s stories, hobbies, and activities. The outline represents how a person can be authentic in expression and what they are doing.
